Wheel Rim, Rim Of Wheel, Wheel, Tire, Car, PartWhen you drive your new Honda off the lot or pick out the perfect pre-owned vehicle, you might think that the car is perfect as it is. But there are plenty of accessories that you can add to your Honda to make it more customized for you.

New Wheels and/or Tires

When you notice a car driving down the street, your eyes tend to go to the wheels. If you’re looking to change-up the feel and appearance of your Honda, consider replacing the wheels. You can get a brand new set of rims that will transform the car’s exterior appearance. With plenty of available options, you can choose rims that are flashier or a set that is simple.

Another option is to replace the tires with different ones that look unique or have their own special features.  Pricing for tires, rims, and wheels varies based on size and other factors.

Spoilers

Another simple way to change the way the exterior of your car looks is to add a rear spoiler. Not only does a spoiler add a sporty flair, but it can also improve the aerodynamics of your Honda. In some cases, a spoiler can help you to get better fuel economy. Another benefit of this addition is improved traction, so consider installing a new spoiler on the back of your car. You can also find side and front underbody spoilers to continue to improve the aerodynamics. Side underbody spoilers cost about $650, while front underbody spoilers are around $450.

Audio Equipment

While adding new audio equipment won’t change the exterior look of your car, it definitely increases its value. Even if you don’t plan on selling your car anytime soon, you can still take enjoy having a brand new stereo or set of speakers. If you have an older Honda, you may only have a CD player or even a cassette deck. But with a simple and reasonably priced upgrade, you can stream your favorite music from your smartphone via an auxiliary jack or even a Bluetooth connection. Some audio equipment also includes cool tech features like video screens.

You can also install a new set of speakers to improve the sound of the music in your Honda. Even newer models that include high quality stereo systems can benefit from the addition of front or rear speakers or a subwoofer. The price to upgrade your audio system will vary. You can add a new system for as little as around $150, although when you start adding speakers or higher-end equipment, the cost will go up.

Weather Protection

Here in North Carolina, we have a lot of rainstorms throughout the changing seasons, so it’s always beneficial to add accessories that protect you from the weather. A cargo tray is a nice addition in an SUV since it prevents the water from seeping into the upholstery. This might cost you between $100 and $200. Splash guards also add a sleek look to the exterior of your Honda while protecting the paint and components on the outside. The cost on splash guards is about $150 for a set.

Adding cool accessories to your Honda can make your vehicle feel like a brand new car at a fraction of the cost.
