Before You Go

Map It!

Do not rely solely on maps or navigation systems. If you are using a GPS, have a paper printout, just in case you have technical difficulties. Of course, always make sure that you have a good old paper map. Yes, a paper map! You can still find them at rest areas, gas stations, and convenience stores. Mapping your way ensures you are covered and can get to your destination without any major navigational setbacks.

Learn Your Route

Do a little research before your trip. Know where things are on your chosen route (and maybe an alternate) such as rest stops, 24-hour gas stations, familiar restaurants, and maybe some landmarks of interest. If time allows, see some sights along the way.

Don’t Wait for Auto Check-up

Safeguard your road trip (and your schedule) by letting our service department perform the inspection a week or two before your trip. Waiting until the day before you depart for your trip is not a good idea. If there is a problem, your car could need a few days in the shop. A last-minute repair could force you to delay your trip, or worse, having to rent a car at the last minute, and that can certainly throw a kink in your budget!
